About ME

Kia Ora, I’m Frankie!

Born and raised in Whangārei, Te Tai Tokerau, I’ve been immersed in the creative arts for most of my life.

My journey started with Whangārei Theatre Company in performance, before transitioning into devising with the Northland Youth Theatre (NYT). NYT opened countless doors for me and solidified my passion for storytelling and the arts. Today, I’m proud to sit on the NYT board, working to expand its reach and advocate for the voices of rangatahi.

I currently work for Belltech as a Technician, a role that has deepened my technical expertise and passion for live events. Alongside this, I take on side contracting roles with venues like Whangārei Boys' High School, ONEONESIX Whangārei, and Forum North, contributing to the vibrant local arts scene.

What I truly love, though, is event management. I thrive on the behind-the-scenes coordination that brings creative visions to life, ensuring every detail runs seamlessly. Whether it's managing schedules, juggling logistics, or collaborating with a creative team, I find immense fulfillment in making big ideas happen.
